OT-ISAC and NCSA conduct cybersecurity resilience exercise in Bangkok

The OT Information Sharing and Analysis Center (OT-ISAC), Thailand’s National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA), and TXOne Networks conducted a Predictive Resilience Exercise in Bangkok on August 18, 2026. The event utilized a realistic, evolving operational scenario to train participants in making evidence-driven cybersecurity decisions.

Rather than focusing on identifying specific malware or attackers, the exercise emphasized ‘Predictive Resilience’—the ability to anticipate possibilities, recognize weak signals, and make informed decisions before an incident is fully understood. Participants worked to validate information emerging from security monitoring, engineering systems, vendor activity, and physical processes.

Key takeaways from the exercise included the importance of decision-making under uncertainty and the need for stronger collaboration between IT and OT teams. Practical resilience measures identified include increasing visibility into vendor access and OT system changes, implementing stronger logging and monitoring, controlling shared accounts, and establishing clearer escalation pathways.
