Mato Grosso Governor Otaviano Pivetta has outlined his reelection platform, focusing on fiscal reorganization and public investment. Pivetta stated that after two years of stabilizing state accounts, the administration has increased investment from a historical average of 5% to 6% of current revenues to between 15% and 20%.

During an event hosted by Aprosoja-MT, Pivetta criticized Senator Wellington Fagundes, accusing him of contributing to excessive bureaucracy through his influence in Brasília. The Governor also committed to not reintroducing the FETHAB 2 tax, an additional charge on agribusiness chains that many producers argue harms the sector.

To address housing needs, Pivetta announced a plan to facilitate the construction of 60,000 new homes, estimated at a cost of R$ 1.5 billion. He also highlighted infrastructure improvements, including the expansion of the state road network and healthcare services, such as the newly operational Hospital Central.
