Broadway revival of Other Desert Cities features Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Ed Harris

The Pulitzer Prize-nominated play ‘Other Desert Cities’ by Jon Robin Baitz has returned to Broadway in a star-studded revival at the Hudson Theatre. The production marks the Broadway debuts of Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Joe Keery, alongside returning performances by Ed Harris, Allison Janney, and Lily Rabe.

Set in Palm Springs during Christmas 2004, the drama follows the Wyeth family, a wealthy Republican dynasty. The plot centers on the tension caused by Brooke Wyeth’s return with a memoir manuscript that threatens to expose long-held family secrets regarding the death of her brother, a political radical involved in a domestic terror attack.

Directed by John Benjamin Hickey, the production features a limited engagement through January 2027. Critical reception has highlighted the intense performances and the play’s exploration of political ideology, grief, and family dysfunction.
