Other Mommy horror film starring Jessica Chastain to release in Japan
The horror film ‘Other Mommy’ is set to be released in Japan on November 20, 2026. Produced by Blumhouse and James Wan’s Atomic Monster, the film is directed by Rob Savage.
Starring Academy Award winner Jessica Chastain, the movie features her in a dual role as both a mother and a mysterious entity known as ‘Other Mommy’. The story is based on the New York Times bestselling novel ‘Incidents Around the House’ by Josh Malerman. The cast also includes Jay Duplas as the father and Arabella Olivia Clark as the daughter, Bella.
Promotional materials, including a poster and trailer, have been released. Advance online tickets are scheduled to go on sale starting September 11.
