Otilovići hydropower plant prepares for main construction works

Preparations are underway for the main construction works of the Otilovići small hydropower plant (MHE) in Montenegro. Following a contract signed in January between EPCG and Vigoris Ecotech, the project is being executed under a ‘turnkey’ system.

Siniša Višnjić, Executive Director of Vigoris Ecotech, stated that activities are currently focused on final processing and aligning project documentation. The final draft of the main project has been submitted to the client and the auditor for review. Once technical adjustments are completed, the company aims to obtain building permits to begin major construction.

The plant is designed as a run-of-river facility located on the banks of the Ćehotina river. It will feature two Francis units with a total installed capacity of 3.65 MVA and an estimated annual production of 13 GWh.
