Otis Wilson involved in altercation with security at Soldier Field

Chicago police are investigating a physical altercation involving former Chicago Bears Super Bowl champion Otis Wilson and security personnel at Soldier Field. The incident occurred following the Bears’ victory over the New York Jets.

The dispute reportedly centered on elevator access. Monterrey Security, the firm providing stadium security, alleged that Wilson attempted to board an elevator without credentials and “aggressively threw the female officer into a wall,” causing a large hole in the structure.

Wilson has provided a conflicting account, claiming that he and his wife were “assaulted” after a security guard approached them while they were on the elevator with members of the media.

Chicago Police Department officers were dispatched to Northwestern Memorial Hospital to file an incident report. Both Wilson and Monterrey Security have stated they intend to cooperate with the ongoing investigation.
