Otopeni Airport receives emergency landing after bird strike

An aircraft traveling from Cluj to Antalya was forced to make an emergency landing at Henri Coandă International Airport in Bucharest after a bird strike occurred shortly after takeoff.

The plane, carrying between 170 and several hundred passengers, was redirected to Otopeni following the incident. The aircraft landed safely at approximately 15:05, and no injuries or victims have been reported.

Technical inspections are required to determine if the impact caused any structural damage to the aircraft. The resumption of the flight to Antalya will depend on the results of these safety checks.
