Otrokovice bus stops vandalized by destruction of glass shelters

Vandals have demolished the U Dřevnice bus stops in Otrokovice, damaging shelters in both directions. The destruction includes broken glass panels, leaving shards scattered across the platforms and creating a safety hazard for commuters.

Mayor Hana Večerková expressed frustration over the incident, noting that the destruction of public property forces the city to divert funds toward repairs instead of other municipal needs. The police are currently investigating the case.

Local authorities are appealing to the public for information. Because the breaking of multiple glass panels likely caused significant noise, officials believe witnesses may have observed suspicious behavior or heard the incident.
