Otrokovice completes major playground reconstruction

The reconstruction of a major children's playground near the polyclinic in Otrokovice is nearing completion. The project, which began in mid-July, cost approximately 7.7 million CZK and features new equipment designed for various age groups.

Key attractions include a large airplane-shaped play structure with a tower and slide, ground trampolines, a balance path, a merry-go-round, and a cable car. Younger children can use swings, while a sandbox equipped with an excavator is also available. The renovation extended to the surrounding area, adding park paths, benches, drinking fountains, and bicycle stands, while preserving mature trees for natural shade.

Mayor Hana Večerková stated that both parents and children have been following the transformation closely. The site remains closed pending final inspections, but if all goes according to plan, the playground is expected to open to the public on Friday, October 9.
