Otsuka Corporation launches Dokodemo CDM for Box users
Otsuka Corporation has announced the launch of ‘Dokodemo CDM’, a new SaaS-based cloud service designed to centralize information management on a project-by-project basis for companies using the Box content management platform. Starting September 1, the service aims to address common challenges in cloud storage usage, such as difficulty locating specific data, inconsistent folder structures, and complex access permission management.
By utilizing project attributes—including project names, assigned personnel, and budgets—users can search for documents more efficiently and access Box folders directly. The service also automates the application of standard folder structures and access permissions based on internal company rules, reducing the administrative burden on system managers and preventing information silos.
Targeting industries like construction and manufacturing that handle large volumes of design documents and project-specific data, ‘Dokodemo CDM’ complements Otsuka Corporation’s existing on-premises ‘Rakuraku CDM’ system. The service is priced from 25,000 yen per month (excluding tax), and requires a Box Business Plus subscription or higher.
