OTT platforms announce diverse weekly release lineup

A diverse range of films and series is scheduled for release across various OTT platforms during the first week of September 2026.

Netflix features several titles, including the second season of ‘The Gentleman’, the action thriller ‘Gandhari’ starring Taapsee Pannu, and the South Indian film ‘Kanakaraju’. Other notable releases include ‘Chumbak’, ‘Dhamaal 4’, and ‘GDN’.

JioHotstar will host ‘The Mandalorian and Grogu’, the reality show ‘Bigg Boss’, and a live stream of the 75th Miss World Anniversary Final. The platform also offers the Telugu series ‘Part-Timers’.

Other platform highlights include ‘Babita Singh Reporting’ on Amazon Prime Video, ‘Bandar’ on ZEE5, ‘Missing Mahila’ on ShemarooMe, and ‘The Court’ on JioHotstar. Regional content continues to expand with releases like ‘Unmadham’ on SonyLIV and ‘The Yellow Elephant’ on Aha Tamil.
