Ottakring hosts diverse September cultural program

The Ottakring district in Vienna will host a diverse cultural program throughout September at the SOHO STUDIOS in Sandleitenhof. Under the theme ‘Fragile Systeme’, the event focuses on the relationships between humans, nature, matter, and social space through various workshops, exhibitions, and performances.

A highlight of the month is the Ottakringer Buchmarkt on September 19 and 20, featuring over 20 small and independent publishers from Austria, Germany, and Switzerland. The book market includes approximately 30 scheduled events, such as readings by Tex Rubinowitz, Yvonne Lacina-Blaha, and Roman Klementovic.

Other scheduled activities include a four-part salsa workshop led by Ily Batista, a sensory ‘perception walk’ performance on September 17, and an exhibition titled ‘KOMBI KOMBI’ by the artist collective Decay from September 11 to 13.
