Ottawa Redblacks release Demerio Houston amid roster overhaul

The Ottawa Redblacks have announced several roster changes following a winless 0-8 start to the CFL season. Among the departures is veteran defensive back Demerio Houston, who had appeared in every game this year and previously earned league all-star honors with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

In addition to Houston, the club released defensive back Amari Henderson. To bolster the roster, Ottawa has signed defensive back Kenzel Lawler, receiver Grant DuBose, Canadian lineman Jaxon Morkin, and Canadian long-snapper Lucus Spencer.
