Ottawa University football opens season against Kansas Wesleyan

Ottawa University football is set to open its season at AdventHealth Field against Kansas Wesleyan University. The Braves enter the campaign following four consecutive victories to close the previous season and have been projected to finish second in both the KCAC Dr. Ted Kessinger Division Preseason Coaches' and Media Polls.

Fourteen Ottawa student-athletes were named to the KCAC Football Dr. Ted Kessinger Division Preseason Team. While Ottawa leads the all-time series against Kansas Wesleyan 44-37-5, the Coyotes currently hold a two-game winning streak against the Braves.
