Otto-Hahn-Schule students host waffle sale to fund library books
Students from the Otto-Hahn-Schule, known as the 'Lesescouts', organized a successful waffle sale to fund a new book collection for their school library. The group, consisting of 17 students from grades 6 to 10, aimed to purchase the youth crime novel ‘Good Girl’s Guide to Murder’ for a collective reading project.
The sale raised 273.25 euros, covering approximately half of the required costs. The remaining balance will be covered by funds from a previous waffle sale held by the school library team. In addition to the book purchase, the Lesescouts are planning various upcoming literacy events, including readings, bookmark crafting, and library-related activities.
