Otto Hindrich: Legia Warsaw rejects €8m offer from FC Koln

Legia Warsaw rejected an €8 million transfer offer from Bundesliga club FC Koln for goalkeeper Otto Hindrich. While the German side made the bid in August, Legia reportedly sought €10 million for the 24-year-old. The decision to decline the move was influenced by opposition from Legia fans, who wished to retain the starting goalkeeper.

Hindrich, a Romanian international, previously played for CFR Cluj, which is entitled to a 10% sell-on clause from his future transfers. CFR Cluj acquired him in January 2026 for €600,000.

In addition to his professional rise, Hindrich has been noted for his academic achievements, having maintained a high grade point average while balancing his football career. He is currently part of Gheorghe Hagi’s Romanian national team squad for the Nations League.
