Otto Virtanen defeats Kamil Majchrzak to reach Birmingham Challenger final

Finnish player Otto Virtanen edged Poland's Kamil Majchrzak in a three‑set semi‑final at the ATP Challenger in Birmingham, securing his place in the tournament final. The match, delayed by rain after the first set, was decided by three tie‑breaks, with Virtanen winning 7‑6(6), 6‑7(5), 7‑6(6).

Majchrzak, the second seed, had reached the semi‑final by beating James McCabe, Felix Gill and Sho Shimabukuro. He held a match point in the final set but could not convert, while Virtanen served a strong game, hitting 11 aces.
