Ottobrata Zafferanese to showcase Etna's food and wine traditions

The 46th edition of Ottobrata Zafferanese, a major food and wine event in Southern Italy, is set to return. The festival features a large exhibition-market dedicated to typical products from the Etna region, highlighting local agriculture, craftsmanship, and traditional gastronomy.

Recognized since 2019 as a significant event by the Sicilian Region, the festival serves as a platform for territorial promotion and economic development by connecting agriculture, quality production, tourism, and local commerce.

A press conference to present the program and new features for the upcoming edition will be held on October 1, 2026, in Catania. The meeting will include regional official Luca Sammartino, the Mayor of Zafferana Etnea Salvatore Russo, and other local institutional authorities.
