Ottocast launches new wireless CarPlay and in-car entertainment adapters

Automotive electronics brand Ottocast has announced the release of two new products via its official online store: the U2Air Edge wireless adapter and the Play2Video X entertainment adapter.

The U2Air Edge is designed to convert wired CarPlay and Android Auto into wireless connections. It features a 1.2GHz processor, 5GHz Wi-Fi support, and a new heat dissipation design to ensure stability during long drives. The device supports dual-device registration via a ‘Smart Button’ function, allowing users to switch between two registered smartphones easily.

The Play2Video X serves as an upgraded entertainment model based on the previous Play2Video Ultra. It allows users to stream content from apps such as Netflix, YouTube, and Prime Video through the vehicle’s original display and speakers. Equipped with a 1.2GHz processor, 4GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage, it also supports dual-band Wi-Fi and USB storage playback for up to 256GB. The device is intended to provide entertainment during vehicle breaks while maintaining wireless CarPlay and Android Auto functionality for driving.
