Ottogi to raise prices on select cup noodles and dumplings

Ottogi has announced an increase in the factory prices of several cup noodle and dumpling products, effective next month on the 7th. The price adjustments are driven by rising costs of raw materials and packaging, alongside high foreign exchange rates.

For cup noodles, 29 items across 11 brands will see an average price increase of 6.7%. Affected brands include Jin Ramen, Yeol Ramen, Sesame Ramen, and Cup Noodles. For dumplings, 16 items across three brands will increase by an average of 7.7%, including the premium brand X.O.

To mitigate the impact on consumers, Ottogi decided to maintain current prices for bagged instant noodles, which account for approximately 60% of its total ramen sales. The new prices are expected to be reflected first in large discount stores, with final retail prices determined through discussions with various distributors.
