Otxarkoaga Municipal Center renovates auditorium
The Otxarkoaga Municipal Center has inaugurated a renovated auditorium to strengthen its role as a local cultural hub and community meeting point. The Bilbao City Council invested 57,000 euros in the project to improve comfort and accessibility.
The renovation includes the installation of 200 new seats, featuring a front row specifically reserved for individuals with reduced mobility and their companions. Additionally, the flooring of the auditorium has been replaced.
The space serves as a venue for various municipal cultural programs and local associations, including jazz festivals, puppet festivals, and community groups such as the Otxarkoaga Retirees Association and the Basque Gypsy Women's Association.
