Oude Kerk hosts Airborne Sunday services in Oosterbeek

The Oude Kerk in Oosterbeek will host Airborne Sunday services on September 20. The morning schedule includes an English-language service and Holy Communion led by Army chaplain Reverend Gavin Smith and Reverend Ian Gallagher, with introductions by Reverend Dorienke de Vries.

In the afternoon, the church will hold its annual Service of Choral Evensong from 16:30 to 17:30. Co-organized with the Anglican Church Arnhem-Nijmegen, the service features a liturgy focused on themes of war and peace. The event includes choral singing and congregational singing, featuring Cantor Reverend Ian Gallagher from St. James's Church in Enfield, London. Access to both services is free.
