Oum El Bouaghi launches various urban and rural development projects

In the Oum El Bouaghi province, Wali Benabdellah Chaïbdor has launched several urban and rural development projects aimed at improving local infrastructure. Key initiatives include connecting 26 neighborhoods to the public lighting network and upgrading lighting along the RN 32 highway.

Additional projects involve improving the water supply for the FNPOS 80-unit housing estate and implementing flood protection measures near the provincial security headquarters. Sports infrastructure is also being addressed at the Zerdani-Hassouna stadium, where upgrades to seating, the honor tribune, pitch, and locker rooms are underway.

Roadwork projects include the rehabilitation of a 600-meter section of the RN 32 connecting to the Laafri district, with an accelerated two-month completion target. Furthermore, a new 5 km stretch of rural tracks has been initiated in Bir Djedida, and a roundabout project is planned for the RN 10 in Sidi Rghiss.
