Ourense businesses named finalists for Galician Trade Awards

Three business initiatives from the Ourense province have been named finalists for the 2026 Galician Trade Awards (Premios do Comercio Galego) organized by the Xunta.

Ourense Centro is a finalist in the Dynamization category for its ‘Fashion Night’ campaign, which integrates retail with hospitality, culture, and gastronomy. Bermello Electrodomésticos, a company established in 1936, is competing for the Trajectory Award. Additionally, the Verín-based artisan workshop Pato Joyeros is a finalist for its integration of traditional jewelry techniques with 3D design and circular economy principles.

The awards program features five categories—Galician Trade, Trajectory, Entrepreneurship, Dynamization, and Sustainability—with a total prize pool of 19,000 euros. The initiative aims to recognize professional excellence and promote local commerce as a driver for economic and social development in Galician towns and cities.
