Ourense court upholds sentences for counterfeit clothing ring

The Provincial Court of Ourense has upheld the sentences for the leadership and employees of Juncar S. L., a company based in Verín that operated a wholesale network distributing thousands of counterfeit garments throughout Spain.

The ruling dismisses appeals from the defense and ratifies the January 2026 sentences. The sole administrator, Juan S. A., received a sentence of two years and six months in prison for continuous crimes against industrial property, along with a fine and disqualification from the textile trade for the same period. Three key logistics employees—Félix R. P., Carlos Henrique R. A., and Josué P. P.—received confirmed one-year prison sentences and fines.

The company, Juncar S. L., is ordered to pay a fine of 40,446 euros. The court rejected arguments attempting to nullify telephone interceptions and searches, noting that the defendants used code words during calls and that massive shipments and illicit cash were discovered during the investigation.
