Ourense hosts 17th Used Vehicle Show at Expourense

The 17th Used Vehicle Show is currently taking place at Expourense, featuring over 400 used cars from 20 participating dealerships. Co-organized by Expourense and the Association of Automobile Dealers of Ourense (ACAUTO), the event aims to build on the success of the previous week's new vehicle show, which saw approximately 6,000 visitors and 171 new car sales.

ACAUTO President César Fernández noted that the used car market is highly sought after, with three used vehicles sold in Galicia for every new one. Dealers emphasize that professional used car sales offer immediate delivery and legal guarantees that private sales do not. To encourage buyers, the organization is offering a 6,000 euro discount voucher for those who complete a purchase during the weekend.

Market trends indicate a shift in consumer preferences. While gasoline remains the most common engine type, accounting for 60% of sales, there is an increasing interest in electrified options. Electric vehicles now represent approximately 15% of sales as consumers move away from diesel engines.
