Ousmane Dembele Nears PSG Contract Extension After 2025 Ballon d'Or Win

French forward Ousmane Dembele, winner of the 2025 Ballon d’Or, is poised to sign a new contract with Paris Saint‑Germain (PSG). His current deal runs until June 2028, but PSG are reported to be close to finalising an extension that improves his terms, according to sources including L’Équipe and Marc Mechenoua via Onze Mondial. The club aims to retain the player after a season in which he topped PSG’s scoring and assist charts and helped secure a Champions League title.

Dembele’s future had attracted speculation, with interest from Saudi club Al Hilal and several Premier League sides. However, PSG are said to have reached an agreement on the main points, and further discussions will continue once the player returns to training. The new deal is expected to address his salary expectations, which were reported at around €50 million per season, and secure his role as a central figure under coach Luis Enrique.
