Ousmane Gaoual Diallo denies health rumors and confirms return to Guinea

Guinean Transport Minister Ousmane Gaoual Diallo has denied rumors regarding his health and claims that his condition is being used as a political tool. Speaking from France, Diallo dismissed reports that he was bedridden or suffering from a serious illness, questioning the validity of the claims by asking, “You saw the sick man? Do I look like someone who is sick?”

Diallo accused political opponents, specifically naming former UFDG collaborator Cellou Dalein Diallo, of spreading falsehoods to create political drama. He characterized the rumors as a “commercial commodity” used by his detractors to target him and other officials.

Addressing concerns regarding his return to Guinea and potential legal repercussions, the minister stated he intends to return to Conakry this Saturday and will be back in the office by Tuesday. He maintained that he has nothing to hide and expressed a willingness to account for his management of public affairs if necessary.
