Outdoor activities and cultural events held in Brazil and Portugal

Various regional events are promoting outdoor activities and local heritage through sports and culture.

In Lavras Novas, Brazil, the second edition of the Almas Novas event is scheduled for August 29, 2026. The program integrates mountain biking, trail running, guided treks, and yoga with a musical performance by the band Capital Inicial. The event aims to combine nature and wellness with a rock concert.

In Trancoso, Portugal, the Eu Tu e a Montanha Association organized the ‘Trilhos do Bandarra’ hike. Approximately 500 participants completed an 11-kilometer route through Aldeia Nova, featuring a 500-meter elevation gain. The walk highlighted local landmarks such as the Miradouro dos Bacelinhos and the Termas do Pisão, focusing on physical well-being and the appreciation of regional historical and natural heritage.
