Outdoor activities highlighted in Roggel and Utrecht regions

Various local nature and outdoor activities are being highlighted in the Netherlands. In Roggel, guides from Groen Hart Leudal are organizing an autumn guided walk through the Asbroekerheide silence area. The two-hour, five-kilometer trek focuses on local flora, fauna, and cultural history, including the area's former status as a heathland.

Additionally, a new cycling route is being promoted through the forests of the Gooi and Utrecht regions. Starting from Hollandsche Rading, the 25.9-kilometer route passes through the Soester Duinen and towards Maartensdijk. The route concludes at Landgoed Eyckenstein, a biological farm estate where visitors can purchase local products such as cheese, honey, and bread.
