Outdoor cinema screenings scheduled for August 9 in Italy

Two outdoor cinema events are scheduled for Sunday, August 9, in different Italian locations.

In Udine, the Loris Fortuna Garden will host a screening of "My Family in Taipei" at 9:15 PM. Directed by Shih-Ching Tsou, the film follows a young girl named I-Jing as her family returns to Taipei, exploring themes of tradition and modernity amidst the city's vibrant night markets.

In Genzano, at the Parco Segantini di Montecagnoletto, the Comitato per la Protezione dei Boschi Colli Albani is organizing a screening of "The Electric Woman" at 9:00 PM. The event aims to bring community members together to discuss local environmental issues, such as land development in Nemi and deforestation in the Parco dei Castelli Romani. The film, directed by Benedikt Erlingsson, follows an environmental activist in Iceland fighting the aluminum industry.
