Outdoor walking and running events held in Deurne and Stramproy

Various outdoor sporting events are taking place in the Netherlands, offering walking and running opportunities in natural settings.

In Deurne, the Atletiekvereniging Lopersgroep Deurne (AV-LGD) is hosting its annual autumn walk and trail run. Participants can choose from routes ranging from 5 to 30 kilometers. The event features diverse scenery, including the Heiakkerpark, the Maria Vredeskapel, and a section known as the 'kabouterpaadje' which contains 130 decorative gnomes.

In Stramproy, near the Belgian border, a trimloop is held in the woods behind the Het Vosseven bungalow park. This event allows participants to determine their own distance by combining four different colored routes, which vary in length from 1.1 to 5.3 kilometers. The area offers various terrains including sand, mud, asphalt, gravel, and grass.
