Outkast partners with soccer nonprofit for ATLiens 30th anniversary
To celebrate the 30th anniversary of their landmark album ATLiens, hip-hop duo Outkast has partnered with the soccer culture brand MUNDIAL and the nonprofit Soccer in the Streets. The collaboration focuses on supporting youth athletes in East Point, Atlanta, the neighborhood where members André 3000 and Big Boi met as students.
The partnership includes the creation of official ATLiens-themed soccer jerseys for local youth teams. The jersey design features 1990s-inspired elements, such as a large collar and glow-in-the-dark logos, drawing from the album’s iconic visual identity. Big Boi personally attended a local scrimmage to deliver the kits and meet with the players.
A portion of the proceeds from the worldwide sale of these limited-edition jerseys will be donated to Soccer in the Streets, an organization that provides free soccer programs for underserved youth across the metro Atlanta area.
