OutSystems launches Agent Experience for governed AI coding

OutSystems has announced the general availability of its Agent Experience, a platform designed to bring governed AI development to any coding agent. The tool allows enterprises to integrate various AI coding agents, such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, and Kiro, into their existing workflows while maintaining architectural integrity and security. By operating at the level of system design, the platform aims to enforce system dependencies, data relationships, and business logic to minimize technical debt and ensure code reliability.

As enterprises increasingly integrate AI agents into critical business operations, new security challenges are emerging. Because agents can make autonomous decisions and access sensitive repositories, CRM platforms, and collaboration tools, they create an expanded attack surface that traditional security models may not be equipped to handle. The rise of non-human identities, which now significantly outnumber human identities, necessitates new security frameworks focused on identity, privilege activity, and real-time monitoring to prevent high-risk actions and unauthorized escalations.
