Pakistanis deported from Gulf nations

Official data presented to the Pakistani National Assembly reveals that 21,951 Pakistani nationals were deported from Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries between March 1 and July 13, 2026.

Saudi Arabia accounted for the largest number of deportations, with 15,500 individuals sent back. Other significant numbers of deportees included the United Arab Emirates (3,803), Oman (1,606), Bahrain (521), Qatar (429), and Kuwait (97).

The deportations were driven by various violations, including overstaying visas, illegal entry, drug-related offenses, forged documentation, and involvement in organized begging. Additionally, security concerns and the filming of sensitive material related to regional conflicts were cited as factors. The data also noted that 4,628 absconders were deported, 1,294 individuals were jailed, and 968 were blacklisted.
