OVES Enterprise integrates Nemesis AI into STARK autonomous systems

OVES Enterprise, a Romanian technology company, has established a partnership with the Berlin-based defense firm STARK to integrate its Nemesis AI technology into autonomous systems. The initial phase of this collaboration focuses on STARK’s VANTA family of unmanned surface vehicles (USVs).

The integration of Nemesis AI is intended to enhance the VANTA systems' ability to avoid obstacles, navigate in environments where GNSS signals are unavailable, interpret onboard sensor data, and estimate distances to detected objects. Mihai Filip, CEO of OVES Enterprise, noted that the partnership aims to complement STARK’s complex defense systems and expand the maritime applicability of Nemesis AI.

STARK, which secured 500 million euros in funding in June 2026, develops unmanned military systems for aerial, maritime, and terrestrial operations. Its portfolio includes the VIRTUS loitering munition system, currently under contract with the German Bundeswehr, and MINERVA, an AI-based command and control software designed to coordinate autonomous system swarms.
