OVHcloud shares drop after CFO departure announcement

OVHcloud shares fell more than 8% following the announcement that Chief Financial Officer Stéphanie Besnier will step down to pursue new opportunities. Her departure is effective August 31, immediately preceding the launch of the company’s new five-year strategic plan and 2027 budget.

Julien Rabette, the current Deputy CFO, will serve as interim CFO while the recruitment process for a permanent successor is underway. The company also announced leadership changes within its Executive Committee to support its growth and go-to-market model. Pierre Byramjee has been appointed Chief Revenue Officer Digital Cloud, and Sylvain Siou has been named VP Customer Solutions & Success.

Chairman and CEO Octave Klaba noted that the group’s refinancing is secured through 2030 and emphasized that the company is now moving into the execution phase of its strategic roadmap.
