Ovibeja agricultural fair announces 2027 dates and theme

The Ovibeja agricultural fair is scheduled to take place from April 21 to 25, 2027, in Beja, Portugal. Organized by the Association of Southern Farmers (ACOS), the upcoming edition will center on the theme “The soil that the EARTH gives us.”

The event is being redesigned into a new format to better promote the agricultural sector both domestically and internationally. In addition to existing competitions for extra virgin olive oil and wine, the 2027 fair will introduce several new contests for high-quality regional products.

As a major national platform for business and investment, Ovibeja attracts over 120,000 annual visitors. The fair serves as a multifaceted event covering professional trade, machinery demonstration, and cultural activities for families, aiming to drive regional development and agricultural modernization.
