Oviedo Amateur Theatre Festival begins July 21 in Spain

The XVI Festival Nacional de Teatro Amateur “Ciudad de Oviedo”, Memorial José Antonio Lobato, opens on Tuesday 21 July at the Teatro Filarmónica in Oviedo and will continue until Saturday 12 September.

The programme features 14 theatrical productions by local ensembles and companies from Aragón and Castilla‑La Mancha, all starting at 19:30. Tickets cost €5 for performances at the Filarmónica, while shows at the Teatro Casino de Trubia are free until capacity is reached. The festival concludes with a final gala and awards ceremony at the Teatro de Pumarín “José Antonio Lobato”.
