Oviedo invests 3 million euros to modernize 120 homes
The Oviedo City Council has announced an investment of over 3 million euros for a second phase of its residential rehabilitation program. Funded by the Plan for Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience, the initiative aims to modernize 120 homes across 16 communities in the Ventanielles and Guillén Lafuerza neighborhoods.
The largest portion of the budget, totaling 2.68 million euros, is dedicated to renovating building facades and envelopes to improve energy efficiency and urban regeneration. Additionally, approximately 384,821 euros are allocated to support owners and communities in vulnerable situations, with the City Council potentially covering up to 100 percent of the costs in certain cases.
Applications for facade renovation grants are open until September 30, while applications for vulnerability-linked aid can be submitted until October 10.
