Oviedo landmarks and local events highlight the Asturian capital

The city of Oviedo, the capital of Asturias, continues to serve as a significant cultural and historical hub. Key landmarks include the Cathedral of San Salvador, which features the UNESCO World Heritage site Cámara Santa and houses important relics such as the Cross of Victory and the Holy Shroud.

In recent local news, the Cathedral also served as the venue for the wedding of Lucía Canga Roza and Olivier Declerck. Lucía is the daughter of Diego Canga, a high-ranking European Commission official and former PP candidate for the presidency of Asturias. The ceremony was attended by approximately 150 guests.
