OVNi Festival announces Cosmopolis Prize nominees and new patronage circle

The OVNi (Objet Vidéo Non Identifié) video art festival in Nice has announced the selection for its Cosmopolis Prize and the formation of its judging panel. The selection features eleven international artists and collectives, including representatives from Estonia, Lithuania, Mexico, Guatemala, South Korea, and various European and Latin American institutions.

The jury for the Cosmopolis Prize will be chaired by artist Tania Mouraud, a member of the Académie des Beaux-Arts, alongside other contemporary art professionals.

Additionally, the organizing association, Objectif V. Nice, has launched the ‘Cercle des amis’ (Circle of Friends). This patronage initiative aims to gather collectors and businesses to fund emerging talent through programs such as the Prix Sud Emergences and the OVNi on Space residency, which provides artists with dedicated time and space for research and production.
