OVNI festival returns to Nice as a biennial in November 2026

The OVNI festival, a biennale dedicated to moving images, is returning to the Alpes-Maritimes region from November 13 to 29, 2026. Following a decade of annual editions, the event has transitioned to a biennial format.

The 11th edition is themed ‘Performancia’, focusing on the role of the body in moving images and exploring concepts of performance, identity, and interaction with the public. The festival will span 28 locations across the region, including Nice, Monaco, Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, and Mandelieu-la-Napoule. It will feature 160 works by 140 artists.

The festivities will launch at the 109 – Pôle de Cultures Contemporaines in Nice with a central collective exhibition involving 15 artists.
