One affected couple, Rachel Drasey and Anthony Jones, reported paying 9,500 euros for a multi-cycle treatment package that included a partial refund guarantee if pregnancy was not achieved. Following the clinic's sudden closure, the couple is left with a viable embryo stored at the facility but remains uncertain about how to access it or proceed with implantation at a different clinic.

Many of the affected patients are reportedly British nationals who sought treatment in Portugal due to lower costs. The bankruptcy has disrupted ongoing medical procedures, including egg harvesting and embryo implantation, leaving patients to face potential additional costs and the loss of prepaid services.
