OÖVP initiates regional development and local infrastructure projects in Upper Austria

The OÖVP party is launching a regional development initiative in Upper Austria titled ‘Vorsprung Oberösterreich’. Following a member survey where over 18,500 suggestions were collected, the process will move into local municipalities starting in September. The initiative aims to address challenges such as digitalization, artificial intelligence, migration, and demographic change through community discussions, workshops, and meetings.

In the municipality of Bad Goisern, the ÖVP faction has introduced two specific infrastructure proposals to the local council. These include a plan to install lighting at all bus shelters to improve safety for commuters and the construction of a new music pavilion in the Kurpark to restore the town's cultural and musical infrastructure.
