Owen Price wins Bluejay Invitational collegiate golf tournament

Owen Price of Creighton University won the Bluejay Invitational at Shadow Ridge Country Club in Omaha, Nebraska, finishing with a 6-under total score of 210. Price, a senior from Tacoma, Washington, secured the victory by one shot after recording birdies on the 16th and 17th holes. He was the only player in the 45-person field to shoot below par across all three rounds.

Jack McCarty of the University of Iowa recorded the lowest single round of the tournament, shooting a 65 with seven birdies during the opening round. McCarty finished eighth overall. Other notable performances included Creighton’s Brock Kuhlman, who tied for eighth, and Radley Mauney, who shot a tournament-low 68 in the first round.
