Łowicz: Drunk driver crashes Lexus into road barriers

A 41-year-old resident of Łowicz caused a vehicle accident during the night of October 17–18. While driving a Lexus near the intersection of Poznańska and Płocka streets, the driver failed to make a planned right turn and instead drove straight into energy-absorbing barriers.

Police investigations revealed that the driver was heavily intoxicated. Breathalyzer tests showed 0.94 mg of alcohol per liter of exhaled air, which is approximately equivalent to 2 per mille in the blood.
