Owkin licenses K Pro AI platform to Servier for oncology research

Owkin has entered into an agreement with Servier to license its K Pro platform and provide access to multimodal patient data from the MOSAIC network to support oncology research. The collaboration aims to accelerate the study of hard-to-treat cancers and the development of new therapies through computer-aided processes.

K Pro functions as a digital AI scientist, assisting pharmaceutical researchers across various stages of the drug discovery and development pipeline. Key capabilities include target and biomarker identification, molecule optimization, and the improvement of clinical trial designs by more precisely defining patient subgroups.

The partnership expands an existing relationship between the two companies, moving from previous work on patient subgroup identification into a broader AI-powered research environment. By combining specialized biological agentic AI with real-world patient data, the platform is intended to help researchers investigate complex biological questions and evaluate potential treatment strategies more efficiently.
