Owlcat Games reveals new gameplay for The Expanse: Osiris Reborn

Owlcat Games has released new gameplay footage for its upcoming narrative action RPG, ‘The Expanse: Osiris Reborn’. The footage, showcased during recent gaming events, provides a detailed look at a mission set on Ganymede.

The gameplay depicts a covert infiltration of a Protogen base where the protagonists, a Captain and their sibling J, attempt to recover stolen data. The mission shifts from a stealth operation to a survival struggle when a bioengineered creature is unleashed, causing the situation to escalate from ‘Code Yellow’ to ‘Code Red’. The trailer highlights core gameplay elements, including cinematic storytelling, action combat, exploration, and a dialogue system centered on player choice.

Significant updates have been noted in the production, including improvements to various technical aspects and changes to the voice acting for main male characters following beta feedback. The game is scheduled for release in Spring 2027 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
