OWN renews reality series ‘Put a Ring on It: Cheathab’ for two more seasons

The OWN network has renewed its reality series ‘Put a Ring on It: Cheathab’ for two additional seasons. The renewal, which greenlights 16 more episodes, comes ahead of the first season finale scheduled for September 25.

As a spin-off of the ‘Put a Ring on It’ franchise, the series follows long-term couples attempting to repair relationships damaged by infidelity. Participants reside in the ‘Cheathab House’ to confront issues of trust and jealousy, often engaging in experiments where partners meet with other individuals, including former affairs. The couples are supported by relationship coach Dr. Stacii Jae Johnson and must ultimately decide whether to marry or separate.

Since its July 31 premiere, the show has performed strongly among African American women aged 25–54, averaging a 1.49 L3 rating. Production for the new seasons is expected to begin this fall, with an anticipated broadcast in 2027.
